INNOVATION GROWTH HUB ONITSHA LAUNCHED!
27th April,2019 heralded the launch of our second hub at the commercial city of Onitsha, Anambra State. The launching was accompanied with our first meet and greet event.
Onitsha, Anambra state is one of Africa’s largest commercial cities. It borders the famous river Nigeria and houses the second largest market in Nigeria. It is populated by mostly artisans and people trading different commodities ranging from motor parts to raw materials for production to clothings to food stuff, and virtually anything you can think of.
The high density of small and medium enterprises in the city of Onitsha and the need to explore and maximize the online space as a marketing tool created a problem that we have come as a hub to provide solutions to.
The opening was graced with pomp and prayers in the hub premises and Our meet and greet event was successful one; we had some of the youths of the city come around,the S.A to the Governor of Anambra state on urban development
The attendees identified the challenges they have in the tech and business ecosystem, problems that can be solved for the people using tech driven solutions and the SA to the governor expressed his gratitude and enthusiasm at the timely arrival of a tech hub in the Onitsha city.
And of course,we had our break out session where the attendees and dignitaries present met and networked with themselves and the refreshments
As the day rolled by,we were honoured by Chukwuememeka Fred Agbata of Godo.ng, Chukwurah Chuka of Devamplify hub, Awka and Uche of @Edufunhub who officially welcomed us into the Anambra tech ecosystem.
